Unaccompanied Minor Policy 


Unaccompanied Minor Policy is for minors (kids of age below 18). Under this policy, Delta Airlines provides personal care for each child traveling alone. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted to travel alone.

5-7 years 


Children between the ages group of 5 to 7 are permitted to travel only nonstop flights.


USD 150 each way 


8-14 years


Children between the age group of 8 to 14 years are permitted to travel non-stop as well as connecting flights


USD 150 each way 


15-17 years 
 

Children between the age group of 15 to 17 years are permitted to travel non-stop as well as connecting flights.

USD 150 each way 

 

Children in the age group of 15-17 years are permitted to travel as standard passengers. They have to carry an ID, and it has to be presented to their personnel. Children between this age group can also travel without an unaccompanied minor policy if their parents permit. Children traveling under the unaccompanied minor policy have to be dropped by and picked up by an adult at the airport.
 

Delta Airlines Flight Bookings 
 

To book a flight for an unaccompanied minor, an adult must contact Reservations at their contact Delta Low Fare Calendar number and check the eligibility criteria. If they are eligible, the adult should enter the 4-digit PIN configuration required for any further changes in the itinerary. 

Documents Required At The Time Of Check-In
 

During Check-in, the following documents are required at the airport: 
 

  1. Phone number

  2. Photo ID

  3. Address

  4. Name and Contact details of the person receiving the minor at the airport 
     

Unaccompanied Minor Pick-Up
 

The name, contact details, and signature are required of the person picking up the minor at the destination airport. The airlines don’t release The minor to any other person other than the one registered. The adult must reach the airport 2 hours before the landing time to receive a gate pass.
